Didn’t sleep very well last night. Maybe I was just too excited about the trip. In a few hours I would be going to Transylvania, specifally Dracula’s castle. After tossing and turning, I decided to go downstairs and see if I could get something to drink. I was very thirsty and it said the reception desk in the lobby was open 24 hours. I went down the back staircase and found my way outside, it was very dark and as I walked around the unknown back of the property, I just prayed nothing would jump out at me. I decided not to take the dark long road and slipped in a doorway to find the front desk, okay back to civilization. I didn’t see anyone around, so I decided to sit on the stairs and check my e-mails. For me, it was 5:00 am when I came downstairs and after about 1 hour, I found the receptionist. I knew breakfast would be in about 1 1/2 hours, so I asked her if there was anything to drink, water, coffee or soda. She said she only had beer. Well, I can honestly say I never had beer in the morning. However, what choice did I have? I was certainly not going to drink the water. I could see when you flush the toilet or run the water, it had a yellowish color to it and I wasn’t about to try it. We came in last night around 10:30 pm and luckily, the restaurant let us get something to eat. They closed at 10:30 pm, but were very friendly to us and let us get some food. It’s a beautiful place here at the hotel and restaurant. Our room is quite large and accommadating. If we had thought a little bit upfront, we would have gotten some bottled water, so I could make coffee with my portable water heater and not have to have a beer at 6 in the morning. As I sit here in the garden the sun is coming up and it’s going to be a beautiful day. Temperatures are expected to be 33 degrees Celcuis. A bit warm to walk around Bram Stroker’s castle, but I’ve always had a fascination to vampire related topics and can’t wait until we can get there. We’ll spend 1 night there and take in all this city has to offer.
