I hear from a lot of people saying things like, “you guys travel so much, I’m jealous” or “how do you find such good prices”. It’s actually not that hard, it just takes time and patience and persistence. We all have hobbies or things we enjoy to do and my passion is to see the world. I want to experience their culture, foods, and sites. I want to see how they live. People have always been fascinating to me. I’ve grown up with traveling with my parents in the US, mostly camping, but was in my blood. I used to sit for hours with my Dad people watching. I still enjoy it to this day. People have great stories to tell and I love to listen to them.
Other people ask me is why I left California or the US. Well, the truth is, I’ve seen every state except Hawaii and Alaska. They are still on my bucklist, but there’s more out there in the World and being in Europe gives me more opportunities to see things I may not have been able to do while living in the States.
There are many travel apps and websites these days that offer discounts with hotels and/or flights. I keep my agenda handy and look for long weekends to hop on a flight and find a discount hotel. Some cheap things we’ve found is a 4 day trip to Romania with flight and hotel for 44 euros. Another was a 8 day trip to Croatia with flight and rental car for 47 euros. Hotels were reasonably prices starting at 21 euros a night. Sometimes it more expensive to stay home.
I love sharing my knowledge with others. I enjoy inspiring others to enable travelers to get out there and connect with the world. I want them to enjoy life and experience great adventures. Life is too short to not do it. I don’t want to live my life with regret or “what if’s”. It’s up to you if you want to get up off that couch and see what is out there. You may be surprised by what you see and what you feel.
